Already posted this but we just got back our colored version: our assignment was to use a set of colors that connected in some way and I got this idea from one of my Korean friends in the class to do it with green, blue, yellow and purple (think of the color wheel it goes purple, blue, green, yellow, in order)
Hope you enjoy it: my class and teacher certainly did
thank you: I sort of like this better than the original as well just because it adds a lot more depth to it and emphasizes some things (aka my bushy eyebrows, the flow in my hair, the seperateness of the two but also the melding ect)

what makes it "weird"? it was an assignment about color and a) picking a scheme b) making it work in a drawing with a lot of small, medium and big areas without using dozens of colors

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
